Introducing the Fever Thunder Bass.

I'm a bass player, and I've wanted to design a bass ever since I started building guitars. It took a while to get there, but I wanted to make sure I got it right.

For me, a great bass needs to be resonant, reliable and stylish. I've taken aesthetic inspiration from the much-loved Fenders of the 1950s and given them the unmistakable Fever treatment. The result is a bass that feels familiar, but has a character all of its own.

A solid American Lime body with generous comfort carves makes the Thunder feel perfectly balanced whether you're standing on stage or sat at home. A hand-wound P/J pickup combination delivers everything from warm vintage thump to punchy modern tones, whilst a rock-solid Canadian hard maple neck with a comfortable 41mm nut width strikes the perfect balance between the familiar feel of a Precision and the slimmer profile of a Jazz Bass.

Like every West Valley instrument, it's built entirely by hand and includes everything I believe makes a great instrument. No gimmicks. No fuss. Just a beautiful tool for making music.
