The Indiana is the guitar I built to challenge myself. I wanted to see how far I could push my craftsmanship without losing sight of what I love most about guitars: simplicity, balance and timeless design. Inspired by the bombastic confidence of 1950s American car design with traditional guitar building techniques and the incredible attention to detail of builders like Novo and Frank Brothers, the Indiana became my way of bringing all those influences together in a single instrument.
I wanted the Indiana to look and feel like a guitar from another era, but perform like a modern instrument. Chambered construction keeps it lightweight and resonant, while generous comfort carves and elegant body binding frame the original shape and make the instrument feel every bit as refined as it looks. Threaded neck inserts, hand-wound pickups and premium hardware provide rock-solid reliability, while traditional oil and wax finishes on the neck and body back and an ultra-thin nitro finish let the timber breathe, age beautifully and wear in, not out. Whatever your musical style, the Indiana's offset shape is designed to adapt without ever losing its identity.
